Tasmanian Whisky Week New Make Night!
New Make – the clear spirit that comes off the still. It’s usually 68% alcohol and has aromatic characteristics.
Come along and sample some of the industry’s newest whisky makers with their new make spirit. It is an awesome way to taste the DNA of a distillery. Aging the new make changes a whisky’s flavour. By trying it now, it will give you an insider’s guide to the character of the whisky and what it will grow into later.
New make is delicious…
Having new make nights helps bring the whisky lover on the maturation journey with the distillers.

- Peter Bignell of Belgrove Distillery
- Damian Mackey of New Town Distillery

- Stephen Parry of Pattex
