Tasmanian Whisky Week Launch

Tasmanian Whisky Week is a celebration of the numerous Tasmanian distilleries, their spirits and whisky.

Tasmania is the whisky destination of Australia, and Tasmanian Whisky Week is the event to celebrate!

The launch is held at Aura Bar, located on the 12th floor of the Crowne Plaza Hobart, Hobart’s only rooftop venue has with magnificent views over Hobart to the water and the mountain.

Michael Ferguson Minister for Science and Technology, Leader of the House, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Minister for Finance, Minister for State Development, Construction and Housing will be officially opening Tas Whisky Week 2021.

Joining him is Bill Lark, Tasmanian whisky legend and the President of the Tasmanian Whisky and Spirit Association, Cam Brett and co-founder with his wife Suzy, of Spring Bay Distillery.

There will be distillers from across the state who will be there to share a dram and a story with you. This is a casual evening designed for guests to chat directly to the distillers.

Upon arrival you will receive a dram of the Tasmanian Whisky Week Blend and there will be an amazing antipasto grazing board to feast upon.

To accompany this evening there will be musicians from the Hobart Chamber Orchestra.
