Enjoy some of Tasmania’s most spectacular scenery as you cruise with distillers down the d’Entrecasteaux Channel to the Restaurant (Peppermint Bay) for a relaxing lunch with Island Coast Spirits, Ironhouse, Overeem, Bogan Rd Distillery, Battery Point Distillery, 7K Distillery and Lower Marsh Distillery.
Your hosts for the tour and lunch are Julian White and Lachlan Watt from Melbourne’s famous Whisky & Alement bar.
You will also be joined on the cruise with Frans from Liquor Lips Chocolate, the ultimate chocolate eating experience. Using whisky from Tasmanian distillers, Frans has created whisky filled chocolate where a lasting memory of indulgence is created. A time to sit back, relax and enjoy the moment.
Departing Hobart’s, Brooke Street Pier you’ll travel south on our luxury catamaran – Peppermint Bay II pausing to view ancient rock formations and other points of interest along the way. Spot sea eagles and seals, or if you are lucky, be escorted down the river by a pod of dolphins.
Overlooking Bruny Island, on the water’s edge, Peppermint Bay is the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious lunch. With a focus on fresh produce from our own gardens and local producers, the food is as stunning as the views.
A three-course meal with expressions from the distillers will match the lunch.
The catamaran will then depart Peppermint Bay after lunch and have you arriving back in Hobart at 3.30pm.
