How does whisky from Tasmania ‘the spiritual home of Australian whisky’ stack up against that from our NZ cousins ‘across the ditch’?
Local host, native Tasmanian (and occasional New Zealand whisky ambassador) Mark Teague of WhiskyIsMyJam will present both impartially, with assistance from local producers and kiwi experts (the latter mostly via video).
Their expressions will be served alongside New Zealand whisky rarely seen on our Australian shores.
A total of 6 x 15ml whisky serves for your consideration.
The event starts at 7:00PM, so feel free to come along from 6:30PM to pre-mingle downstairs at The New Sydney with the Tasmanian representatives, at the bar.
A two course set meal will be served by The New Sydney Hotel.
