Ratho Farm – Tucked away in Tasmania’s Central Highlands, Ratho Farm is not merely a destination—it’s an experience steeped in heritage and natural splendor. As Australia’s oldest golf course, Ratho Farm is where luxury meets tradition, featuring boutique accommodation, a function center, world-class trout fishing, and scenic natural trails, all set within beautifully restored convict cottages.
The accommodation at Ratho Farm consists of several old farm buildings lovingly restored into boutique rooms. Equipped with modern features but still retaining elements of the original masonry and carpentry, the result is a beautiful fusion of old and new. Up to 34 people can stay in our ensuite rooms throughout the convict cottages and farm barns down by the Clyde River.
