Reflecting the spirit of our 30th anniversary celebrations, this intimate Q&A and tasting stands as a centrepiece of the Tas Whisky Week calendar; an evening that honours the legacy of Sullivans Cove whisky through meaningful conversation, milestone whiskies, and a deep connection to craft.

Hosted in the newly renovated Sullivans Cove brand home – an incredible space that embodies both our rich heritage and bold future – this event begins with an intimate behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery, led by our passionate team. From there, guests will settle in for a rare chance to hear directly from Distillery Manager Heather Tillott in an open, conversational Q&A – an experience made all the more special by the setting and the scale, with only 20 places available. 

Guided by Miranda Lidgerwood, Heather will lead guests through the defining eras of Sullivans Cove’s 31 year journey, not just in story, but through the liquid itself. Attendees will journey through a selection of whiskies emblematic of Sullivans Cove’s milestones – each telling its own story of patience and the pursuit of excellence that is ingrained in everything we do. 

The evening invites whisky lovers to engage intimately with the people who continue to shape world-class Australian whisky. A standout occasion during Tas Whisky Week, drawing newcomers, brand fans, connoisseurs, and all those curious about the legacy and future of Sullivans Cove.

Four whiskies:

• DC0095 – Our first Double Cask release above 45% ABV and unflocced, dating back to 2017. This expression showcases how the Double Cask range has evolved and where it’s heading.
• TD0082 – One of the earliest American oak second-fills released as part of this series in early 2020. The second-fill style since become an award winning and much loved staple.
• HH0619 – 23 Year Old American Oak ex-Bourbon. A preview of an unreleased single cask milestone, our first 23 year old.
• TD0112 – 18yo French Oak white wine cask — our first old and rare in this style. The French Oak ex-White Wine style kicked off the Special Cask series and captures our spirit’s affinity for white wine casks and innovation and experimentation.
