Cask Strength – Tawny Cask Matured
Tasmanian single malt, Batch H17-20
This rich, robust whisky was matured for 2 ½ years in small French oak tawny casks, vatted and then allowed to “marry” together before bottling.
A winter warmer, this full flavoured whisky was double distilled and is non-chill filtered to retain depth of character. Christmas pudding? yes please!
This all combines to create our most approachable cask strength tawny release to date!
500ml Bottles, 63.5% ABV.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep amber.
Taste: Complex sweet tawny-influenced flavours of dried fruit, Christmas pudding and spice.
Nose: Appealing fragrant aromas of tawny port, stewed fruits and oak.
Finish: A pleasant, smooth enjoyable finish.
